Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Cylindrical bone object from the metacarpal of an ox. There are two holes evenly spaced along the length of the object. The bone has been turned on a lathe. Now identified as a hinge from a piece of furniture, it has been suggested that this was a cheek-piece of a bridle (Nash-Williams, 1932, Archaeologia Cambrensis).
