Dessert dish, almost square in shape, soft-paste porcelain, good clear translucency and lustrous glaze, standing on a shallow footrim, flat well, rounded corners, folded rim with eight large and eight small lobes; the well painted with eight pink roses on gilt moss around a central gilt roundel and within an elaborate gilt ground of scrolls and diaper and seeded panels, the rim panelled grey with an horizontal gilt foliage pattern, interspersed with eight black medallions each painted with a standing bird in yellow and brown.
