Samian bowl sherds, form Dr37. S142 is a think pink ware with a good dark red slip. Small double border ovolo with triffid tipped tongue and a plain border. Perhaps a scroll design, including a coarse-fringed small medallion containing cupid to the left. (O.436). Quite clean moulding, especially of the figure. S143 is a small sherd in the peculiar light orange fabric with a pale orange-yellow slip. The slip is quite glossy and generally well made. The decoration is difficult to decipher but one figure seems to be a slightly smaller varient of O.66. There is a vertical wavy line, small rings and some leafy ornament.
Dr 37 is a hemispherical decorated bowl
