Sauce-boat, soft-paste porcelain, in the rococo style, short pedestal foot with spreading base, oval body with bulbous sides, lobed lip-rim rising up into two wave like peaks just before the spout, one of these peaks broken-off, wide elongated spout slightly everted at the tip, high double scrolled handle, the exterior sides, underside of the spout and foot moulded with festoons of flowers; painted in gilt with to the exterior sides and underside of the spout sprays of flowers, the foot painted with scattered single flower heads with a slightly worn looping gilt border to the foot-rim, a larger spray of flowers to the interior bottom of the sauce-boat, border to the interior lip-rim and spout of arching gilt lines issuing foliate motifs, gilt markings to the handle.
