Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Men’s waistcoat made from checked velvet on the front panels, blue, green and black and red stripes. The back is made from brown cotton sateen and the lining is un-dyed cotton. There are 5 covered buttons. Three small pockets, 2 at the sides and one breast pocket on the left panel which is set on a slight angle. There are 2 straps sewn to the back for adjusting the size with metal eyelets through which a lace would have been threaded, but this is now missing.
