Plate, miniature
A miniature or'child's' plate, earthenware, standing on a slightly recessed base, cushion-moulded, spreading sides, forming a deep central well and a wide rim; transfer-printed in brown with a view of Neath Abbey, the abbey buildings in ruins, a river in the foreground with three figures in a small rowing boat, on the river bank, houses and to one side, a landscaped walk, rising from the river bank.
