Vase, flattened campana shape, standing on a rectangular foot with canted corners. The lower part of the body shanked, painted in a large oval reserved with three muses in a landscape, one crowning with laurel a bust of Alexandre Pope mounted on a pedastal to left, within a broad gilt band. The body decorated with bands of black enamel, alternating with gilt stars, roundels, swags, trails and paterae. Two C-scroll handles, both repaired; fluted bell-shaped cover and collared bead finial.
