Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain, with a pale buff tinged translucency; standing on a slightly flared deep foot rim curving into flared spreading sides; lobed lip with five large and five small lobes, moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage; groove moulded cavetto; painted in the centre with a small flower spray in polychrome enamels, and five sprays painted around the edge within each c-scroll moulding, including pink roses, a tulip, and convolvulus; gilt dentilled lip.
