Flannel
A piece of flannel woven at Star Factory, Bwlchygroes, Pembrokeshire, about 1920s-30s. From a flannel shirt worn by Jonathan Thomas (1889-1958), Fferm y Dolau, Star, Pembrokeshire.
Wool flannel shirting material; blue and brown stripes on cream ground. Blue stripes made of one warp, brown stripes made up of three warps. All edges turned back and hemmed with machine stitches using white thread. Selvages on both side edges.
