Quarterly, FRANCE (Modern) and ENGLAND; 2. SCOTLAND; 3. IRELAND. In field, to rear of horse, a harp, ensigned with a crown (for IRELAND), behind the king a rose en soleil, similarly ensigned (for ENGLAND), and in front of the forelegs of the horse a fleur-de-lis, likewise ensigned (for FRANCE). The horse gallops over a field in which flowers are growing, and a collared greyhound runs by its side.
