Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Gateleg table with oval top in three sections. Inscribed across the surface of three sections is 'Brenhin-bren y Ganllwyd' indicating it was made from the oak tree of that name that was uprooted in 1746. The table was probably made a few years later in about 1760-70.
Oval top in three sections; the two side leaves have been cut from the same piece of oak; on each side of the centre-section are two drawers with applied moulding and turned wooden knobs (knobs are late 19th century in date); on underside of leaves are wrought iron supports (late 18th century in date); block and ball-turned legs and stretchers.
