Taperstick
Taperstick, soft-paste porcelain with a white translucency, and glassy body; standing on a foot rim curving into flared spreading sides, moulded with a ring handle, cylindrical sconce indented at base, with an everted lip; beading encircling base of sconce; painted around the edge with a landscape view of a house, trees, and a bridge over a river; green and gilt pattern inside beading of stylised tulip heads, gilt handle, and gilt band to lip, sconce base and lip.
