Iron Age iron bow brooch
Fragment of an iron brooch with a foot disc attached to the apparently flat bow by a bead-like collar. The remaining fragments of bow or pin are also straight and suggest Steads (1991) group C long, flat bow brooches rather than an involute. This brooch would fall into Hull and Hawkes group 2A.
