Plate, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim, the rim with a faint moulded basket-work pattern and divided by raised ribs into twelve short panels and four large panels, the large panels bordered by moulded scrolls, a shaped edge to the rim; the four large panels to the rim painted with landscapes in puce monochrome and bordered by rococo scrolls in gilt, the well painted with scattered floral sprigs in puce with a worn ornamental gilt border around the sides of the well, a gilt line around the rim.
