Photograph captioned ''Newport Brass Foundry. Brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, is melted in a furnace. This one is gas fired, which is tapped to allow the molten material to flow into a ladle. The ladle is handled by two men, one at each end of the carrying bar, as the brass is poured from it into the casting moulds.'' Mounted on card. Made for the exhibition RECORDING WALES 3 in 1970/1971.
