Unidentified animal bone including a near-complete tibia and vertebra plus fragments of unidentified animal bone.
Animal bone likely of Upper Palaeolithic date (c.50,000-12,000 years ago) recovered during archaeological excavations of Long Hole Cave, Gower, Swansea in 2012. The assemblage is comprised of a near-complete tibia (possibly deer?), a complete vertebra, microfaunal long bone and unidentified animal bone fragments.
