Goblet, buff stoneware, standing on a hollow pedestal foot with attached, rounded foot rim; globular cup-shaped body with incised band below lip rim; the foot applied with moulded rosettes of irregular form, the body sprigged with moulded reliefs, two of a oak-type tree, two of a man in open frock coat and buttoned waistcoat, knee breeches and a hat, smoking a long pipe, sat on a barrel with foliage to the side, and one of a windmill with the sails crossed behind with two small windows and doors visible to the building structure; a pale, thin iron-brown wash to the upper body with some dripping, the colouration extending to cover some of the sprigging, a clear salt-glaze to the whole object, pooled and discoloured in the central well.
