Plate, hybrid-paste porcelain, circular shape with short cylindrical foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim; finely painted in underglaze blue, polychrome enamels and gilt with to the centre of the well a Chinese design with a flowering tree and a bench with an urn containing flowers, around the sides of the well a lattice-like border with flower heads and four reserved oval panels containing floral sprigs, to the rim a blue ground against which is reserved four lobed panels containing floral sprigs, the blue ground overpainted with red flower heads and gilt decoration, a gilt edge to the rim. The foot-rim chipped.
