Jug, stone-paste, standing on a low, spreading foot, globular lower body, waisted neck; simple ogee handle; covered with a greenish turquoise glaze, the lower body and foot, unglazed, the body, painted in black, beneath the glaze with a band of arabesque-style patterning, the neck with thick black zig-zags within concentric bands, a broad black band to the lip rim, black horizontal dashes to the handle, the interior with the same greenish turquoise glaze; one side of the outer body with a patch of degraded glaze, the unglazed body exposed with the black patterning still intact, surrounded by iridescent crazed glazing.
