Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Tea kettle, silver, with lamp and stand; the kettle on a moulded foot, with inverted pear-shaped body, and upcurving scroll spout with foliate ornament, prominent bale handle bound with wicker, S-scroll supports with substantial foliate terminals, shallow domed cover, hinged and with a pineapple finial, engraved with a band of scrolls and foliage at the shoulders, and with (on one side only) with a coat of arms in a rococo cartouche. The stand comprises a moulded frame which carries the kettle foot, ornamented with a pierced apron of scrollwork, supported on 3 S-scroll legs on foliate feet, from which is bracketed a depressed ovoid spirit lamp.
