Teapot, white smear-glazed stoneware, shaped oval form with straight sides, sharp shoulder and a raised gallery moulded with circles containing applied flower heads, curving spout decorated with two panels of applied floral sprays against granulated grounds, scrolled loop handle with a raised thumb-spur, the body divided into rectangular panels decorated with applied acanthus leaves, floral sprays and classical figures against plain and granulated grounds, a band of applied conventional leaves around the shoulder, oval domed cover decorated with around the sides applied conventional leaves and shell moulding against a granulated ground, the finial to the top of the cover is broken off and missing, to one end of the cover is attached a part of the same gallery to be found around the teapot; blue enamel lines around the body of the teapot and the cover. The cover broken and repaired.
