Teapot, silver with an ivory handle and finial; the body oval with vertical sides made from sheet metal seamed behind the handle; the base within a shallow footrim made from a separate piece of metal; ear-shaped ivory handle with scroll thumbpiece fitting into two pinned sockets, straight, tapering spout; shallow domed cover, hinged, and with a low flange; turned ivory vase finial attached with a silver bead and a threaded screw and nut. Both sides engraved between bands of bright-cut tongue and dart with a shaped shield with a wreath and ribbon-tied swags, one engraved with the monogram 'WO'; cover edged with bright-cut scroll and tongue.
