Patinated bronze first world war memorial plaque with heavy pediment and two laurel branches at top, inscriptions and bold borders embossed in relief, headed “In ever grateful recognition of the splendid patriotism and heroic self sacrifice of the following employees of Guest, Keen & Nettlefolds, Ltd (Cardiff Works)” and continued at the bottom “who gave their lives for their King and Country in the Great War 1914-1918.” Lists 37 names in alphabetical order by surname and initials, in two columns.
