Body sherd of a decorated bowl. Form 37, Central Gaulish, with zonal decoration. Description relating to 2010.20H/8.210-213: The upper zone includes a sphinx to the right (the counterpart of O.858 and a lion to left (O.1421). The central zone includes a dolphin to right (O.2385) and a sea-creature in the bottom zone. The basal wreath consists of beaded rings, separated by vertical astragali. The lion, six-beaded rosettes in the field (Rogers C278) and rings are all on signed bowls of Arcanus, respectively from Heilbronn-Bockingen. The ovolo (Rogers B76), sphinx and dolphin are all on bowls in his style. c.A.D.125-140.
