Middle Bronze Age bronze sword
Two fragments of a parallel sided, gently tapering sword blade, with the tip missing. The mid section is slightly rounded with bevelled edges. The lower blade fragment is markedly bent, indicating that the tip was deliberately bent to break the blade. Notches along the blade edges may indicate use or deliberate destruction of the sword.
