Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Of Yetholm type, circular (diam. 668) of sheet bronze decorated with 20 repoussee bosses (diam. 6) with raised ribs between. The grip, which is protected by a hollow conical boss, is a seperate piece folded over to adapt it to the hand and riveted to the shield. On the back there is a small pointed tongue rived half-way in from the edge, and there is a second rivet, but no tongue, in a corresponding position on the opposite side of the shield.
