Teapot, soft-paste porcelain, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, bulbous fluted sides, slightly raised lip-rim, curving fluted sout, ridged ear-shaped handle, round flat cover, to the top of the cover a raised fluted step in the centre of which is a finial in the form of a raised moulded flower head issuing two moulded leaves, a pierced steam hole to one side; delicately painted in green with to the exterior sides of the teapot and the top of the cover scattered sprigs of leaves, a gilt dentil band to the foot-rim and lip-rim, the base of the spout and the lip picked out in gilt, a gilt foliate motif to the handle, a gilt dentil edge to the rim of the cover and around the centre of the cover, the flower head finial and moulded leaves picked out in gilt.
