Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Official UEFA Euro 2016 match-played football manufactured by adidas. White polyurethane with Euro 2016 branding and adidas logo overprinted in black, red, blue and turquoise and silver. Grey certification sticker on side. Used during Wales's 3-1 victory over Belgium in the quarter-final on 1 July 2016. Goals scored by Ashley Williams, Hal Robson-Kanu, and Sam Vokes.
The printed design picks out the numbers 2 0 1 6 with the letters E U R O superimposed in turquoise on top of each number. The ball is joined together from six shaped pieces of material. Each piece is cross-shaped with four 'lobed' arms. The ball doesn not appear to be stitched, but the sections seem to be adhered together. The surface of the material is textured with a small check design. Bar code printed in black beside black rubber valve.
