Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim, slightly raised edge to the well, eight notches and lobes to the rim; transfer-printed in blue with vignettes of shells and flowers, a large group of shells, flowers and leaves and stylized scrolling foliage to the centre of the well, surrounded by one group of shells and leave and three groups of flowers, leaves and stylized scrolling foliage spreading up the sides of the well and onto the rim, border to the outer rim of timy heart shapes on a blue ground with a wavy line below.
