Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Banner of the West Glamorgan branch of the Wales Anti-Apartheid Movement (WAAM). Made in about 1984 by Dave Cozens, who at the time was the branch Secretary. The banner was used on shop pickets, street stalls and demonstrations up until 1992. Roger Jones, who donated the banner to the Museum, was was the branch Chair from the 1980s. He was previously involved in Chile solidarity campaigns in Bangor and Swansea during the 1970s.
