Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Plate in hard-paste porcelain, vertical foot ring wiped clean of glaze, curving sides and slightly bevelled rim; the interior is decorated with, at the centre, a simple lobed flower in red enamel within a circle lined in underglaze blue, from this issues a whorling pattern with alternate panels of rather crude underglaze blue scrolling flowers with gilded details (heavily worn) and a flower and foliage design in red enamel with gilding, the border has a simple design in red enamel of painted 'C' scrolls and flowers, the flower petals in gilt, with a thin band of orange-brown enamel in imitation of gilding at the rim.
