ss.OCEAN VALLEY (7174gt) : Built 1942 by Toff-California Shipbuilding Corp., Richmond, California (engine by General Machinery Corp., Hamilton, Ohio), for MoWT (managed by Capper, Alexander & Co., Manchester). 1947 – Transferred to MOT (managed by Houlder Bros. & Co). 1949 – Sold to Alexander Shipping Co., London, and renamed MALMESBURY (managed by Houlder Bros & Co). 1955 – Sold to Trafalgar Steamship Co., London and renamed GRANNY SUZANNE (managed by Tsavliris Ltd). 1958 – Chartered to Nigean Shipping Co., Monrovia, and renamed FREE ENTERPRISE. 1959 – Renamed ALEXANDER TSAVLIRIS. Same owner, but registered at Piraeus. 1964 – Returned to Trafalgar Steamship Co., London, and renamed NEWDENE. 1965 – Sold to Kantara Shipping Co., Famagusta, and renamed FREE NAVIGATOR. She was broken up at La Spezia in 1969.
