Two letters and a memorandum regarding the grading of blast furnace tap-hole clay. Letters and memo attached with a paperclip. Letters typed in black ink on cream paper. One sent from Thos. Jolly to J.C. Hayman, refractories chemist at East Moors Works, dated 21st February 1950. The other sent from Guest Keen Nettlefolds (Cwmbran) Limited to East Moors Works, 31st January 1950. Memorandum typed in black ink on company headed paper (Guest Keen Baldwins Iron & Steel Co. Ltd.), dated 20th February 1950.
