Figure of Sir Hector Macdonald mounted on horseback facing left, creamy white earthenware, on an oval base inscribed in capitals on a narrow plaque. Largely white and bright gilt, Sir Hector in military dress of boots, knee breeches, jacket, row of gilt medals on chest and helmet, seated astride a white horse with a pink mouth and gilt detailing, sword by left arm, and resting the left hand on his thigh holding reins, and with his right arm folded across his chest. The horse stepping with right front leg raised on a green/brown base which rises to support the horse under its belly, two clumps of extruded grass on base.
