Built 1935 as MASUREN by Schichau GmbH Abt Schiffswerft, Danzig, and owned by Kohlen-Import & Poseidon Schiffahrt AG, Konigsberg. 1945 – Seized at Copenhagen by the UK government and renamed EMPIRE ANNAN (managed by Crosby, Sons & Co., London). . 1947 – Ownership transferred to US Maritime Commission, who sold her to Fanmaur Shipping & Trading Co., New York in 1948 . 1950 – Sold to Thomas N. Epiphaniades of Volos, Greece, and renamed THOMAS N. EPIPHANIADES. 1952 – Sold to Johann M.K. Blumenthal of Hamburg and renamed HELGA BÖGE. 1959 – Sold to Koehn & Bohlmann Reederei KG, Hamburg, and renamed FUHLSBUTTEL in 1960. She was broken up at Bremerhaven in 1964.
