Figure of Gladstone, white earthenware with a blue tinted crackle glaze, standing on a shallow irregular plinth inscribed in raised capitals. Figure largely white and gilt in contemporary dress of black shoes, narrow trousers, frockcoat, waistcoat, neck tie, pink face, grey hair. Standing with right arm bent across body holding a speech against his chest, left arm vertical, resting on pedestal modelled at front with flowering plant. Bright gilded detailing. Holes/ blemishes, especially on plinth and around feet.
