Roman copper alloy lorica segmentata fitting
Two plates folded around a common axial bar and each originally secured with two rivets. Both rivets survive in one plate, and are fairly flat headed, but neither survives on the other. There are concentric punched rings around the rivet holes and hint of a punched line around the hinge margin.
