Waiter, tin-plate, circular form with raised sides and flat spreading rim; covered with a black japan to the underside and a very dark chocolate japan to the upperside, the upperside decorated with an all-over 'stormont' pattern in crimson against which is reserved to the centre of the well a roundel containing a star motif in crimson and silver to which the varnish has given a golden tinge, around the edge of the well and the rim decorated loop, chain and line borders in silver to which the varnish has given a golden tinge.
