Waiter, tin-plate, circular form with sunken centre, curving sides and flat spreading rim, the rim with shaped edge curves and central points; covered with a black japan to the underside and a reddish black japan to the upperside, the upperside decorated with an all-over 'stormont' pattern to the well with around the sides and the rim successive borders of intersecting loops, plain lines and small stars, all in silver to which the varnish has given a reddish-gold tinge.
