Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain; cup standing on a foot rim, rounded sides; saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides; both painted in brown enamel; the cup painted with a landscape, a house in the centre with smoke coming out of the chimney, two figures to the right, framing trees to sides, vignette opposite, gilt border to foot rim, ornamental gilt border to lip; saucer painted with a landscape, house in the background, two figures resting to left of foreground, one figure in a rowing boat, surrounded by six gilt sprigs, ornamental gilt border to lip.
