Counter-relief. Under an arched canopy, a man in a hood with liripipe and a close-fitting tunic with pendant sleeves, a purse suspended from his belt, stands between two trees regarding himslef in a mirror held in his left hand; at the foot of the tree to the the left is a dog. The costume suggests a date not before c.1340 (Scott 1986, Cunningham 1952). BM Design 273 (wenlock Priory); Chirbury Priory.
