Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Bodice of dress, 1890-95. Stand-up collar tight to throat. Large cape epaulettes; cuffs divided into two tabs. The material is shot blue and brown with a small sprig design. Trimmed with blue velvet ribbon in nine rows on corsage, three at waist, nine at shoulders and three at cuffs. Collar and epaulettes similarly trimmed. Worn by Fanny Lloyd (nee Evans), at Glyn Teg, Llanbrynmair. Made by her sister, Sarah Jane Peate (nee Evans), of Llwynderw, Llanbrynmair.
