Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Distinguished Service Medal awarded to Seaman W. Williams of the Royal Naval Reserve, for his part in sinking German submarine U 83 by H.M.S. Q5 on the 17 February 1917.
The bar to the medal was awarded for Williams' part in the battle between H.M.S. Dunraven and submarine UC 71 in the Bay of Biscay, 8 August 1917.
