Tea cosy in the form of a Welsh lady/doll. Purchased by Janet N. Wiles as a souvenir from the Empire Exhibition in Glasgow, 1938. Plastic torso of doll dressed in a paisley shawl with crocheted bonnet and black cardboard hat. The skirt forms the tea cosy and is made of black and red-striped Welsh flannel lined with paisley-printed cotton and with a miniature dog-tooth apron. The doll also holds a straw bag.
