Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Linen cloth embroidered with the initials ED. Belonged to Mrs Esther Davies (1804-92), wife of Isaac Davies (1793-1866) of Cilgryman Fawr, Llanwinio. The cloth was used in the 1840s by neighbouring cottagers as biers to carry to the graveyards the bodies of children who had died in infancy.
