Printed in green/black with two Chinoiserie scenes: to left of lip a man fishing in a pond with a long-handled net, small house to right and ruin with stylised flowers and foliage to left: to right of lip 'The Precarious Chinaman'; a fence in front of a large urn of flowers, group of figures to right side of fence one holding an opened parasol, tree at far right. Dense repeating pattern around neck of diapers under a narrow ogee band, and swags of husks on diapers; inside neck further band of diapers under a narrow band of Maltese crosses.
