Mesolithic chert microlith
Microlith of obliquely blunted point form. The tool has marginal retouch along the left hand side. It is an exceptionally fine example and has a feathered termination.
Microlith found at Rhuddlan, north-east Wales. Microliths were made by flaking, notching and snapping the blades. They were used for fishing.
