Sides of crown lined with original lining paper, top of crown lined with striped silk, with stamp of Royal coat of arms, Honi soit qui mal y pense; inner band lining of blue printed glazed cotton chintz (only very slightly discoloured by wear), the chintz is lined with black muslin and interlined with cotton wadding; with drawstring of pale blue woven silk braid. Hat band of silk and velvet intertwined, with bow.
