Coffee pot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a rounded spreading foot, ovoid body, sharp shoulder, concave neck with flaring lip-rim, short curving spout with a moulded mask to the base, high scrolled handle, both the spout and the handle appear to be later replacements, round domed cover with a bud-shaped finial to the centre and a pierced steam hole to one side; finely painted in polychrome enamels and gilt with around the centre of the exterior body of the coffee pot a wide border of torches and musical instruments in red-edged panels between two heavy gilt bands, small gilt landscapes to either side of the neck of the coffee pot , a wide border of gilt ovals around the lower body of the coffee pot, gilt bands around the foot, neck and lip-rim lip-rim of the sucrier and around the rin and centre of the cover, the finial painted in gilt.
