Upholstery fabric sample book 46 wool and cotton plain and twill woven afbric swatches in various colours 3 treated fabrics possibly waterproofed at the back of the pack. The smaples are bound together at the top into a block of wood, the samples are glued to the wood. The edges of the wood are covered in a red adhesive tape but there is no cover or back so the wood is exposed. There is some paper attached to the wood on the front and reverse which suggests that there was a cover but this is missing. A hole has been drilled through the wooden block through which a piece of string is threaded to hang the smaple book up. Each sample has a oval shaped sticker adhered to the reverse.
